The Women’s Leadership Summit & Expo, presented by She’s Got Influence, brought together professionals, entrepreneurs, young emerging student leaders in Houston on March 28 at the Bayou City Event Center for a day focused on empowerment, education, and connection.
Hosted by the Top 30 Influential Women of Houston Alumni, the event created a dynamic space for women across industries, as well as high school and college students, to engage in meaningful dialogue, gain career insights and expand their professional networks.


The summit, held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., featured programming centered on higher education, career development, mentorship, entrepreneurship and access to resources. Attendees participated in panel discussions led by industry leaders, while students had the opportunity to learn directly from experienced professionals and explore future career pathways.
The day began with a welcome session and sponsor recognition. Participants then engaged in a series of panels covering topics such as professional development, health care and wellness, leadership and entrepreneurship.
A highlight of the event included the “Power of Leadership” panel, which encouraged attendees of all ages to embrace their influence and lead with intention. Another featured session focused on entrepreneurship, offering insights into building and sustaining successful ventures.

In addition to panel discussions, the expo component showcased local businesses and service providers, allowing attendees, including students, to connect with organizations offering tools, internships and opportunities for career and business advancement.
The event also included a presentation recognizing the next generation of women leaders through scholarships, reinforcing the summit’s commitment to mentorship and youth development.

The grand finale featured speakers from the Top 30 Influential Women of Houston, who shared messages centered on education, empowerment, inspiration and motivation, particularly encouraging young women to pursue leadership roles.


Organizers emphasized the importance of creating spaces where women at every stage — from students to established professionals — can access resources, build relationships and strengthen their leadership skills.
